Under Construction

The site is under construction... please excuse the dust, errrr... pixels

I've nearly finished the new design and decided it was time to go live with it. It's not perfect by any means, but most of the skeleton is there so I can start populating it with content. All the pre-existing content got deleted(intentionally) so over the next week i'll be adding it back all prettied and polished up .

The site now runs on the Drupal CMS, for those not interested in the geek speak, that means it's really easy to add new content. Which means, barring my own laziness, I'll actually have the time to update the site on a more regular basis.

Check out the portfolio and galleries pages. They get dynamically populated with photos and projects as I add them to the site. Of particular note is the "WIP" section of the portfolio. The link will take you to all my current WIP projects, and if you drill down even further, inside a project, the page gets dynamically updated with all my progress entries related to that particular project. I know I'm doing a horrible job describing it, so check it out for yourself and you'll see what I mean

So anyway! Please check back often, create an account and leave me some comments! I'm really interested in what you think of the site, how you think it can be improved, and any other interesting nugets you'd like to share.

My to-do list:

• Breadcrumbs (critical)
• Some images have incorrect padding, causing 2 column display rather than 3
• Show updated date/time if an article is updated(instead of original post date)
• Styling/formatting of typography is still incomplete
• Fix inconsistencies in the styling; rollovers and buttons in particular
• Add content, content, and more content
• Put the log-in form back up top(critical)
• Images in the footer area do not appear right in internet explorer
• Drop-down menus for easier navigation(critical)
• Images are sometimes showing up where they shouldn't be or not at all
• URLs based on the post title
